About Branden Sacks

Branden is the Founder and Managing Partner of Collaborative Wealth Advisory (“CWA”), a firm built on the principle that meaningful financial guidance thrives in a collaborative environment.

After 15 years at Merrill Lynch, Branden set out to create a new kind of independent advisory practice, one where clients benefit from the combined insight of financial professionals, attorneys, CPAs, and agencies working in concert. His vision was simple yet powerful: to deliver more holistic, coordinated, and personalized guidance by breaking down the barriers between disciplines and putting collaboration at the heart of every client relationship.

In addition to providing traditional financial advice and guidance, Branden leads the team’s efforts in special needs planning—a deeply personal and specialized area of his practice. As a Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®), he works closely with families to help coordinate the appropriate supports and services for their loved ones, integrating these considerations into broader estate and retirement planning goals. His approach includes guidance around care coordination, benefits planning, funding strategies, corporate trustee selection, employment opportunities, and independent living arrangements. Branden’s commitment to this work reflects his belief that financial planning should be inclusive, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of every family.

Branden holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®), and Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®) designations, underscoring his broad expertise in comprehensive planning, retirement strategies, and specialized support for families with disabilities.

After graduating from The Hill School, Branden earned dual bachelor’s degrees in International Business and Spanish from Virginia Tech. He is actively involved with several charities and nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting children and adults with disabilities - a cause that aligns closely with both his professional focus and personal values. Outside of work, Branden enjoys fly fishing, golfing, and cooking - three favorite pursuits that allow him to recharge, engage with nature, and spend quality time with family and friends. He and his wife, Amy, reside in Malvern, Pennsylvania, where they raise their four children - Marilyn, Andrew, and twin daughters Elizabeth and Evelyn - alongside their two beloved dogs: Teddy the Cavapoo and Bear the Cockapoo.
